I spent my childhood in Gosport on the south coast of England. My father was a surgeon in the navy and was absent for much of the time. Consequently, my mother was the main influence in my early years. Molly followed the teachings of Alice Bailey, which emphasize the spiritual side of existance and offer a very comprehensive explanation for our evolution on the physical plain as a manifistation of the spiritual. At the age of ten I read Autobiography of a Yogi and decided to lead my life as an experiment in total faith; focusing on the observance of spiritual principles and allowing the material side of my life to fall into place as it may. The steadfast practice of unconditional love for all things has allowed me to live in a world of such profound beauty and wonderment that I am awestruck for much of the time. The inability of a considerable portion of humanity to see the Truth which is so apparent, and to remain trapped in the petty foibles of the personality arouses  my compassion, and I try to do what I can to help in my own small way.  I am Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Aberta ( a province in western Canada ) and was a candidate in the recent Federal Election. My wife and soulmate Zena, is a Yoga teacher of considerable experience who operates a beautiful teaching centre in Edmonton. While being involved in politics is one way to bring about change, I do not infact hold out much hope for the political system here in Canada. The government here is basically  controlled by and acts on behalf of big business. Consequently the motivation for everything it does is profit, and the preservation of the environment, the needs of the individual citizen and  the workers are not a consideration. Therefore people have to get on with the developement of a society which is compassionate, sustainable, respectful, tolerant and non-violent without waiting for our so-called leaders to catch on. Zaadz is a tool for the people of Earth to use in this work. Love to all.
